Grand theft auto: Church Street

Someone stole an unlocked vehicle sometime between 3:30 and 8:30 p.m. March 22. The owner had left the keys in the vehicle. A credit card also left in the vehicle was used in Cleveland. Police are investigating. The owner filed a report March 23.

Found property: Whitesburg Park

A gold ring found in the park March 17 was turned in to police a few days later. The owner can retrieve it at the police station.

Theft: South Main Street

Two packages were stolen March 20 that had been delivered by Amazon. The approximate value is $60.

Found property: West Washington Street

A license plate was found March 20 and turned in to police. It was returned to its owner.

Suspicious: Hickory Hill

After dark March 19, a woman saw a light turn on and off in her parked car. Looking closer, she saw someone standing by the vehicle run toward Walters Road. Police responded to the scene, but did not locate anyone outside in the area.

Assistance: West Washington Street

Thinking that her son’s vehicle had been towed by Chagrin Falls police, a North Royalton woman sought help in locating it March 18. It had not been towed by Chagrin Falls police. She was referred to her local police department for further assistance.
