Join the Bluff City Training Team

The Bluff City Training Team (formerly known as the BCB100 Training Team) is entering its 10th Year and we have all kinds of exciting news for this training season.

First, we will be partnering with BPC to provide an even greater level of coaching than in the past. We look forward to working with Bryant and Dale and all the folks at BPC.

Second, as you can tell with our name change, we will be able to help any cyclist this year planning on a long distance ride through Fall, 2020. Of course if you join the Training Team we will have an extra special Ride Fee for our own BCB 100 Ride happening on October 10, 2020 – only $20.

We will also have special pricing for the West Fight On Ride and the Wolf River Conservancy’s Cycle The Greenway.  Only

Using the Shop

Bike Farm is a do-it-yourself bike shop staffed entirely by volunteers. Members and non-members are welcome to drop by– no appointment necessary. Find out more about memberships here. For non-members, it costs $5 per hour to use the stands, tools, and guidance from our mechanics.

During shop hours, at least two volunteer mechanics will be in the shop to help you learn to work on your own bicycle. Our goal is for YOU to do the work yourself, while we help guide your learning.

The Phoenix Metro Bicycle Club is a non-profit social organization that leads regularly scheduled weekly bicycle rides and other special events for the benefit of its members.  We promote and provide venues for safe and legal bicycling, primarily in the greater Phoenix, Arizona metropolitan area.

Based on advice from the Center for Disease Control (CDC), we are recommending that everyone practice social distancing and avoid the risk of physical injury when our health care system is at or nearing capacity due to the coronavirus pandemic. For this reason we are suspending the Club’s weekly rides and social activities until the health emergency passes. Thank you for your understanding. At such time as the CDC and Arizona’s governor have declared it safe to resume normal ride schedules, the PMBC Board plans to meet to schedule the resumption of Club activities.
